Job summary

Compass Group UK&I, on behalf of M&S Warwick Hospital, is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to oversee all catering and service operations on a full-time basis (40 hours per week). You will ensure kitchens and service counters run smoothly while delivering exceptional food experiences and customer service to M&S customers.

You will lead from the front, manage inventories and budgets, train teams, handle tills, and support paperwork as required, while upholding the Compass brand and values

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role, passion for customer service, ability to manage teams, strong communication and organisation skills, ambitious and motivated to upskill.

Responsibilities

• Liaising between the team and manager to exceed expectations.
• Motivating the team to stay on task.
• Assisting with inventories, budgets, and action plans.
• Managing tills and processing payments.
• Training teams and leading from the front to excel.
• Assisting with paperwork when required.
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image.
