Job summary

Packe Arms, part of Mitchells & Butlers, is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in daily operations at a busy rural pub. You will motivate and mentor your team to deliver an excellent guest experience and be the Duty Manager when the GM is absent.

You’ll drive training, lead by example, and inspire the team to consistently deliver high standards of food, drink and service in a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Management experience in hospitality or retail.
• Ability to train and inspire teams.
• Excellent communication and guest service focus.

Responsibilities

• Use your management experience to support the General Manager in the day to day running of the business, being the Duty Manager when they are not around.
• Use your communication skills to train and inspire your team to deliver food, drink, and service to be proud of.
• Be the role model and guide development within your team.
• Lead the team to deliver moments that WOW our guest, keeping them coming back.
