Job summary

Gloucestershire County Council’s Adult Social Care team is recruiting an Assistant Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract to lead day-to-day delivery of caring, safe and effective services at The Beeches and related day centres in Stroud.

You will line-manage the staff team, support the manager with quality assurance and audits, and participate in project work while upholding values of respect, dignity and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Health and/or social care experience required at NVQ Level 3.
• Management experience desirable.
• Commitment to quality and dignity in care.

Responsibilities

• Line-manage staff within Day Care Services.
• Support the Day Centre Manager with quality assurance and audits.
• Participate in appropriate project work and ensure safe, caring services.
