Job summary

The Inn Collection Group is seeking an Assistant Manager for The Seaton Lane Inn. You will support the General Manager, lead the team, and ensure the inn delivers a warm, home-away-from-home experience for guests.

You will work hands-on in a fast-paced hospitality environment, manage daily duties, and liaise with Chefs, management, and suppliers to maintain high standards and a welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team management experience
• Background in food & hospitality and customer service
• Hands-on approach with ability to lead by example

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in delivering company standards and daily operations
• Lead and motivate a team to provide exceptional guest service
• Oversee shift operations, managing stock, ordering, and supplier liaising
• Handle administrative tasks and accounts management as needed
• Be available for sleepovers and guest responses as required

Job description

As an Assistant Manager you will be key to supporting the General Manager in ensuring that our Inn feels like a home away from home for our guests. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will play a key role in leading the team, managing daily operations, and creating a welcoming and efficient environment for both staff and guests.

In this role, you will work closely with the General Manager to oversee daily duties, lead a team to deliver company standards, and manage the Inn's day-to-day operations. You'll need to be hands-on and approachable, leading by example, and fostering a positive and collaborative atmosphere. You will handle everything from managing shift operations in our busy, fast-paced environment to conducting administrative tasks, liaising with Chefs, Management, and Suppliers. This includes stocktake and ordering, handling accounts management, and being available for occasional sleepovers and guest responses.
