Job Description

We're seeking a talented individual to join our Corporate Tax Compliance Team in Newcastle, responsible for providing tax compliance services for a wide range of business clients.

Do you want to join a supportive, forward-thinking, close-knit team with a compliance focus? This role can be based out of either our Newcastle or Manchester offices, both located in city centers.

This growing and developing team offers plenty of progression opportunities and flexibility for part-time work if required.

Responsibilities include, among others:
  • Ensuring procedures and processes are followed in compliance work, taking into account institute and HMRC guidance.
  • Meeting department billing and recovery targets.
  • Staff management and development, including appraisals and performance monitoring.
  • Training and mentoring junior staff.
  • Providing exceptional client service and maintaining regular contact with client teams.
Skills and Experience

To be successful, you should have:

  • Significant corporate tax experience within a professional services environment.
  • Strong technical compliance skills.
  • Experience managing people.
  • Strong IT skills.
Qualifications

Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CA) and/or tax advisor (CTA) or international equivalent.
