Job summary
Halfords is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Centre Manager in driving profitability while focusing on the customer journey. You will split time between the workshop and sales floor, working with technicians and guiding daily operations to deliver great service.

Qualifications
- Proven ability to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction through effective management and leadership.
- Experience in coaching, training, and developing colleagues on the job.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with Level 2 or Level 3 qualifications in Light Vehicle Maintenance.
- Understanding of workshop operations, diagnostics and vehicle maintenance processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Centre Manager with daily sales and customer service.
- Divide time between the workshop and front-of-house to drive profitability.
- Lead and develop workshop technicians to ensure high quality maintenance services.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards and company policies.
