Role Overview

As an Assistant Manager, you will support store operations, resolve issues, and innovate ways to enhance the customer experience. You will partner with the Store Manager to lead the team, drive sales, and develop a cohesive, motivated staff capable of delivering memorable experiences to our customers. This role offers opportunities for growth within the company and is ideal for those interested in retail management.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Be a role model: Motivate and engage your team to embody brand values daily, fostering an inclusive and positive work environment that celebrates success.
  2. Deliver outstanding customer service: Demonstrate exemplary behaviors to all customers and team members.
  3. Drive sales and standards: Assist in sales growth, maintain standards, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  4. Effective communication: Maintain clear communication on the sales floor and behind the scenes, developing relationships within the business, with customers, and community partners.
  5. Marketing collaboration: Partner with the Store Manager to develop innovative marketing ideas.
  6. Stock and visual management: Take ownership of stock control and visual merchandising, contributing to store KPIs.
  7. Product knowledge and training: Educate your team and advise customers as a product expert.
  8. Foster a positive environment: Promote teamwork, accountability, and inclusivity.
  9. Operational support: Assist in opening/closing the store, cash handling, stock management, and maintaining store presentation.
  10. Customer experience: Create authentic, memorable customer interactions.
  11. Compliance: Adhere to health and safety and company policies.
