Job summary

Upham Inns in the UK is seeking an Assistant Manager to deliver guest experiences at a high level across every shift. You’ll take overall responsibility for food and beverage, drive KPI performance, and manage HR tasks such as recruitment and staff development.

We offer a competitive package with up to £33,000 salary plus a potential share of the Tronc (up to £5,000 per year), plus generous staff benefits and progression opportunities within a supportive pub group.

• Previous supervisory experience within Hospitality

• Up to £33,000 per annum plus a share of Tronc (this can be up to £5000 per year)

You will still be out there on the floor, right at the heart of the action - but you’ll be more than just ‘one of the team’. While the General Manager drives the business, it is you that manages the day-to-day running of the business…

You’ll need to take ownership of problems, and you’ll live by a mantra of ‘always doing the right thing’ – sometimes needing to think outside the box. Supporting the General Manager is a great way to learn the business side of running a pub. It is a chance to develop your skills and gain the knowledge you need to progress your career even further.
