The Noble Comb, a Hungry Horse pub in Shipley, is seeking an Assistant Manager to join the management team. You will help lead a busy, family‑friendly operation and drive the team to deliver great guest experiences.

Situated on Salts Mill Road, this role offers progression within a well-known brand, with a strong focus on customer service, team development and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in busy hospitality settings.
• Experience as an Assistant Manager, Supervisor or Team Leader preferred.
• Strong customer service and sales skills.
• Ability to train and develop staff and manage shifts.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who loves hospitality and knows how to lead people.

You’ll ideally have experience as an Assistant Manager, Supervisor or Team Leader in a busy pub, restaurant, bar, hotel, retail or similar fast‑paced environment.

More importantly, you’ll be:

• A natural leader – you know how to bring people with you and aren’t afraid to get stuck in.
• Customer focused – you care about creating great experiences and understand what makes customers come back.
• Commercially minded – you understand that great service and a successful business go hand in hand.
• Confident and hands‑on – you’re comfortable making decisions, managing a busy shift and supporting your team when things get hectic.
• Passionate about people – you’ll enjoy coaching, developing and recognising your team.

Previous hospitality management experience is great, but we’re also interested in people from other fast‑paced customer‑focused environments who have the right attitude and leadership skills.
