Cornerstone - Bra_207 is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager and lead the team in delivering great hospitality. You will be hands-on during shifts, ensuring smooth operations, strong service and safety standards.

You will empower your team, drive sales, and foster a welcoming environment for guests while maintaining high standards across food quality, cleanliness and team development.

What you\'ll be doing as Assistant Manager

You\'ll be the General Manager\'s right hand, helping lead the business and bringing energy, personality and a hands‑on approach to every shift.

• Lead from the front: Support the day-to-day running of the pub, taking ownership of shifts and keeping everything running smoothly.

• Inspire your team: Motivate, coach and develop your people, creating a positive environment where everyone can thrive.

• Put customers first: Make sure every guest receives a warm welcome, brilliant service and a reason to return.

• Drive business performance: Help maximise sales, identify opportunities and understand how your decisions contribute to the pub\'s success.

• Maintain high standards: Keep on top of food quality, service, cleanliness and health and safety.

• Support recruitment and development: Help bring great people into the team and give them the tools and confidence to succeed.

• Step up when needed: Support the General Manager in leading the business and making decisions in their absence.

Qualifications

What we\'re looking for

We\'re looking for someone who brings energy, ambition and a genuine passion for hospitality.

You\’ll ideally have:

• Experience in a supervisory or management role within a pub, restaurant or hospitality environment.

• The confidence to lead a team and make decisions during busy services.

• A passion for delivering excellent customer experiences.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and develop others.

• Commercial awareness and an interest in driving sales and business performance.

• A hands‑on approach, leading by example and supporting your team wherever needed.
