Greene King in Mansfield is seeking an Assistant Manager to join the busy pub's management team, helping to ensure smooth daily operations and delivering memorable customer experiences.

You will lead by example, support the General Manager, train and develop the team, uphold brand standards and safety, and step in during busy periods. The role offers a competitive salary with bonus potential and career progression.

Job Description

As Assistant Manager, you'll at the heart of our management team, helping to ensure the smooth running of a busy pub. From the moment you step through the door, you lead by example making sure our Customers, and teams, have a great time.

Qualifications

£31,000 - £34,750 + Bonus

What you'll do as an Assistant Manager...

• Support the General Manager in the day to day running of the business and leading the business in their absence.
• Bring our brand to life by leading the team in delivering amazing experiences for our customers.
• Act as a role model for the team and support with training and development.
• Be a champion of brand standards & ensure customer & team safety at all times.

What you'll bring...

• You'll be passionate about delivering amazing experiences for customers.
• You'll be great with people, and as a result, have great communication and leadership skills making sure you get the best out of people.
• An ability to think on your feet and adapt to whatever challenges arise during a busy shift.
• A keen eye for every small detail and a desire to uphold high standards in all that you do.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.
• As this role may involve covering the business in the General Manager's absence, you'll need to be eligible to hold a Personal Licence. You don't need to have one when you apply. If you're successful, Greene King will support you through the process of obtaining your licence.
