Job summary

Market House in Reading is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a friendly, food-focused pub team and drive excellent customer service. You will manage daily operations, inspire staff, and uphold Market House’s standards of hospitality.

Market House is set in the centre of Reading, 5 min walk from the train station and surrounded by shops, restaurants and bars. We are looking for a motivated & experienced Assistant Manager to join and lead our team in our stylish, food focused pub. As the successful Assistant Manager you will have a genuine passion for exceptional customer service and a pro-active approach to team management. You will be enthusiastic & driven to continue the success of our pub and play a pivotal part in training our team to ensure they have the knowledge needed to delight our customers. You will also be someone who is committed to their career in hospitality and we can offer ongoing development to support you as you grow and succeed with us.
