Job summary

Toby Carvery in Rotherham is looking for an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in the day-to-day running of a busy site and to lead a team to deliver excellent guest experiences.

You will train and coach staff, cover as Duty Manager when required, and drive service excellence and hospitality. The role is full-time, with a salary up to £35,300 plus bonus and clear progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as assistant/shift manager in hospitality.
• Ability to lead and train a team.
• Proven guest service focus and problem solving.
• Willingness to cover duties as Duty Manager when needed.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Train and inspire the team to deliver food, drink and service.
• Be a role model and guide development within the team.
• Lead the team to deliver WOW moments for guests and increase loyalty.
• Cover Duty Manager duties when the GM is not present.
• Manage hours and align with full-time status.

  Salary Up to £35,300 per annum plus bonus
