Job summary

Everly Hotels is seeking an Assistant Manager to join a busy pub, leading daily operations and guiding the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences. You’ll model the brand’s standards, coach colleagues, and ensure safety and service excellence across all shifts.

You will drive year‑round footfall and liquor sales through events, promotions and seasonal activations, build supplier relationships, and maximise profitability while maintaining high standards of hospitality.

Job Description

As Assistant Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our management team, helping to ensure the smooth running of a busy pub. From the moment you step through the door, you lead by example making sure our Customers, and teams, have a great time.

You’ll be responsible for driving year-round reasons to visit the venue, increasing liquor sales and profitability across both internal and external bar operations. Creates and delivers engaging events, promotions, and experiences that attract guests, enhance customer loyalty, and maximise revenue performance. What you'll do as an Assistant Manager...

• Support the General Manager in the day to day running of the business and leading the business in their absence.
• Bring our brand to life by leading the team in delivering amazing experiences for our customers.
• Act as a role model for the team and support with training and development.
• Be a champion of brand standards & ensure customer & team safety at all times.
• Drive footfall and create compelling reasons for guests to visit throughout the year through events, promotions, and seasonal activations.
• Grow liquor sales and profitability across internal and external bar operations.
• Develop and execute commercial strategies to increase revenue, customer engagement, and repeat visitation.
• Lead bar teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences while maintaining high operational standards.
• Build relationships with suppliers and partners to support innovative drinks offerings and promotional activity.
