Job summary

George & Dragon Mountnessing, part of MITCHELLS & BUTLERS PLC, is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in leading the team and daily operations. You will motivate and mentor staff, ensuring service excellence and a memorable guest experience while acting as Duty Manager when needed.

You will train and inspire the team to deliver food, drink and service that makes guests proud, while contributing to a positive, inclusive work environment with strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to train, inspire and develop a team.
• Strong leadership to mentor staff and support the General Manager.
• Experience delivering excellent guest experience and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day-to-day running of the business.
• Lead the team to deliver great guest experiences and moments that WOW.
• Act as Duty Manager when the GM is absent, ensuring smooth operations.
