Job summary

Butcombe Group is seeking an Assistant Manager for one of our pubs or inns in the United Kingdom. You will support the General Manager, lead a front-of-house team and ensure exceptional guest experiences across every shift.

You\'ll motivate, coach and develop team members, foster an inclusive culture, manage stock and rotas, and help deliver strong performance while maintaining the warm atmosphere our pubs are known for.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the pub, ensuring every shift delivers great hospitality and memorable guest experiences.
• Leading by example and inspiring the team to deliver exceptional service standards every day.
• Coaching, developing and motivating team members, helping them build confidence and grow their careers.
• Driving a positive and inclusive team culture where people feel valued and supported.
• Supporting with stock control, rotas, compliance and operational standards.
• Taking ownership of the guest journey and resolving issues quickly and professionally.
• Helping to deliver strong commercial performance while maintaining the warm, welcoming atmosphere our pubs are known for.
