Job summary

Butcombe Pubs & Inns is looking for an Assistant Manager to help lead a busy venue, ensuring excellent guest experiences and smooth daily operations.

You will coach and develop the team, drive a welcoming journey for guests, manage stock and compliance, and contribute to the warm, award-winning culture across our pubs.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or pub/restaurant leadership.
• Proven ability to coach and develop teams.
• Strong customer service skills and guest focus.

• Supporting the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the pub, ensuring every shift delivers great hospitality and memorable guest experiences.


• Leading by example and inspiring the team to deliver exceptional service standards every day.


• Coaching, developing and motivating team members, helping them build confidence and grow their careers.


• Driving a positive and inclusive team culture where people feel valued and supported.


• Supporting with stock control, rotas, compliance and operational standards.


• Taking ownership of the guest journey and resolving issues quickly and professionally.


• Helping to deliver strong commercial performance while maintaining the warm, welcoming atmosphere our pubs are known for.
