Job summary

York is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in leading the team and delivering outstanding guest experiences in our York venue. You will mentor staff to be their best, drive service standards, and act as Duty Manager when the GM is away.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervisory or assistant management roles in hospitality.
• Ability to train and inspire teams to deliver high quality service.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day‑to‑day operations, acting as Duty Manager when unavailable.
• Train and inspire the team to deliver food, drink and service to be proud of.
• Be the role model and guide development within the team.
• Lead the team to deliver moments that WOW guests and encourage repeat visits.
