Greene King’s Hungry Horse is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a busy pub, delivering excellent guest experiences and guiding the team through daily operations.

You will support the General Manager, uphold brand standards, coach staff, manage safety and allergen controls, and contribute to the venue’s growth through training and development opportunities.

Formación

• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate staff.
• Fluent English with clear in-restaurant communication.

Responsabilidades

• Support the General Manager in day-to-day operations and lead the business in their absence.
• Lead the team to deliver excellent guest experiences and uphold brand standards.
• Coach and develop team members, ensuring safety and allergen controls are followed.
• Be a role model for the team and help maintain high standards during busy shifts.

What you'll do as an Assistant Manager...

• Support the General Manager in the day to day running of the business and leading the business in their absence.
• Bring our brand to life by leading the team in delivering amazing experiences for our customers.
• Act as a role model for the team and support with training and development.
• Be a champion of brand standards & ensure customer & team safety at all times.

What you'll bring...

• You'll be passionate about delivering amazing experiences for customers.
• You’ll be great with people, and as a result, have great communication and leadership skills making sure you get the best out of people.
• An ability to think on your feet and adapt to whatever challenges arise during a busy shift.
• A keen eye for every small detail and a desire to uphold high standards in all that you do.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.
• As this role may involve covering the business in the General Manager’s absence, you’ll need to be eligible to hold a Personal Licence. You don’t need to have one when you apply. If you’re successful, Greene King will support you through the process of obtaining your licence.
