Pastada London is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Cafe Manager to lead our team, oversee daily operations and uphold our high standards of hospitality, food quality and customer service. This role fits someone passionate about coffee, brunch, and delivering outstanding guest experiences in a busy Bayswater café.

You will recruit, train, schedule staff, monitor performance, manage inventory, ensure health and safety compliance, and drive revenue growth while fostering a positive team culture.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a cafe manager or similar leadership role.
• Strong leadership to inspire and manage a team.
• Understanding of cafe operations including barista skills.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Cafe Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations. This is a pivotal role for someone passionate about hospitality, food quality, and creating an outstanding experience for both our customers and staff. You will be instrumental in maintaining our high standards, fostering a positive work environment, and contributing to the growth.

Key Responsibilities

• hands on roll able to work on shifts as a team leader & motivater, and manage a dedicated team, including recruitment, training, scheduling (rotas & cleaning rostas), and performance reviews.
• Maximize social media account followers and positive Google reviews.
• Oversee all daily cafe operations, ensuring smooth service, efficiency, and adherence to company standards.
• Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, presentation, and customer service.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control, minimizing waste and maximizing profitability.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Monitor sales performance, identify opportunities for growth, and implement strategies to boost revenue.
• Manage cash handling procedures and daily financial reconciliations.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Cafe Manager or similar leadership role within the hospitality sector.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.
