Tenpin Ltd (part of Ten Entertainment Ltd) invites you to join as Assistant Manager. You will ensure guests have a fantastic time and cultivate a fun, safe environment while leading a large team across leisure and hospitality offerings.

You will be well organised, approachable and take initiative, with exceptional customer service at the heart of your role. You will also own your development to grow into a Deputy Manager over time.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a management role, preferably in leisure, hospitality or retail.
• Strong customer service focus and a passion for creating a fun environment.
• Experience leading and developing large teams.
• Organised, proactive and able to take the initiative.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational management of the centre.
• Drive a culture focused on delivering excellent customer service.
• Lead and mentor the team by example to ensure collaboration.
• Support delivery of company strategy.
• Act as Deputy Manager in their absence.
• Own training and development to progress into future Deputy Manager role.
• Assist other managers to meet budgets, targets and KPIs.
• Provide cross-departmental support as needed.
• Ensure policies, procedures, controls and compliance are followed daily.

The Role

As a Assistant Manager for Tenpin, you will be responsible for ensuring our customers have a great time when they visit us! The ideal Assistant Manager will be driven, passionate and have a natural ability to create a fun environment for both our customers and team. You will need to be well organised, approachable and show initiative. Exceptional customer service will be at heart of your role. You will also be responsible for owning your development to grow into a Deputy Manager.

You Will

• Assume day-to-day responsibility for the operational management of the centre
• Strive to achieve a culture that is totally focused on the delivery of the best possible level of customer service
• Lead the team by example ensuring everyone works together effectively
• To support the delivery of the company strategy
• Deputise in the absence of the Deputy Manager
• Undertake ownership for own training and development to grow into the future role of Deputy Manager
• Support the other Managers in the achievement of all budgets, targets and KPI’s
• Provide support to the team in various departments as and when required
• Take responsibility for ensuring that all policies, procedures, controls and compliance areas are adhered to on a daily basis

Skills You Need

• Have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a management role, ideally within leisure, hospitality or retail
• Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service
• Have experience in leading and developing large teams
• Full of determination, enthusiasm and patience!
• Be ambitious and want to progress!
