Butcombe Group’s Butcombe Boutique Inns is seeking a passionate front‑of‑house Team Leader to drive service standards in a fast‑paced gastro‑pub environment. You’ll lead shifts, motivate the team, greet guests with warmth, and ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations across bar, restaurant and outdoor areas.

Qualifications

• Front-of-house leadership experience in a busy venue.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to lead shifts and motivate a team during peak times.

Responsibilities

• Leading by example on shift, supporting management to deliver smooth front-of-house operations.
• Delivering outstanding guest experiences through service, hospitality, and attention to detail.
• Taking a lead role on the floor during service, guiding the team to maintain pace, standards, and energy.
• Serving food and drinks across bar, restaurant and outdoor areas with high presentation standards.
• Supporting opening and closing procedures, ensuring ready-for-service conditions at start and end of trade.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation across front-of-house areas.
• Supporting stock rotation, replenishment and routine operational tasks to keep service efficient.

You’ll be confident in leading shifts, motivating the team, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across the front of house. With a hands-on approach and a strong eye for detail, you’ll help create a positive team culture while consistently exceeding guest expectations.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading by example on shift, supporting the management team to deliver smooth, high-quality front-of-house operations
• Delivering outstanding guest experiences through brilliant service, warm hospitality, and a strong attention to detail
• Taking a lead role on the floor during service, supporting and guiding the team to maintain pace, standards, and energy
• Serving food and drinks across the bar, restaurant, and outdoor areas while ensuring exceptional presentation and service standards
• Supporting daily opening and closing procedures, ensuring the pub is fully prepared for service and left to standard at the end of trade
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation across all front-of-house areas, including glassware and equipment
• Supporting stock rotation, replenishment, and routine operational tasks to keep service running efficiently
