Job summary

You will join The White Hart in Ford, near Chippenham, as an Assistant Manager, overseeing daily pub operations, leading a friendly team, and ensuring top-tier guest experiences. You will help maintain the pub’s tradition while driving excellent service and smooth, efficient service during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Casual dining experience is essential for day-to-day service.
• Experience handling cash and tills with accuracy.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced pub environment.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a frontline team to deliver excellent guest experiences.
• Train and develop team members to uphold brand standards.
• Ensure smooth service during peak periods and busy events.
• Support the General Manager in day-to-day operations and stock control.

We are looking for a motivated & experienced Assistant Manager to join and lead our team in our stylish, food focused pub. As the successful Assistant Manager you will have a genuine passion for exceptional customer service and a pro‑active approach to team management. You will be enthusiastic & driven to continue the success of our pub and play a pivotal part in training our team to ensure they have the knowledge needed to delight our customers. You will also be someone who is committed to their career in hospitality and we can offer ongoing development to support you as you grow and succeed with us.
