Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC in Calverley is seeking an Assistant Manager for the Calverley Arms to support the General Manager in daily operations and lead a team to deliver excellent guest experiences. You will motivate and mentor individuals to be their best, ensuring consistent service and a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Management experience and leadership skills are essential for supporting the General Manager.
• Able to train and inspire teams to deliver great food, drink and service.
• Proven ability to mentor staff and develop high performance teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Lead and motivate the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Train, coach and develop team members to reach their potential.
• Act as Duty Manager when the GM is not available.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING? AS ASSISTANT MANAGER

• Use your management experience to support the General Manager in the day to day running of the business, being the Duty Manager when they are not around.
• Use your communication skills to train and inspire your team to deliver food, drink, and service to be proud of.
• Be the role model and guide development within your team.
• Lead the team to deliver moments that WOW our guest, keeping them coming back.
