Mitchells & Butlers PLC in Sutton is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the business, mentor teammates and deliver the guest experience to a high standard.

You’ll lead by example, train your team and ensure service that makes guests want to return, with a focus on consistency, teamwork and a welcoming pub atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a hospitality setting.
• Ability to train and motivate staff to deliver great guest experiences.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day‑to‑day operations.
• Coach and develop the team to deliver food, drink and service to a high standard.
• Act as role model and guide development within the team.
• Lead the team to deliver moments that wow guests.

• Use your management experience to support the General Manager in the day to day running of the business, being the Duty Manager when they are not around.
• Use your communication skills to train and inspire your team to deliver food, drink, and service to be proud of.
• Be the role model and guide development within your team.
• Lead the team to deliver moments that WOW our guest, keeping them coming back.
