Job summary

RG Consultancy is partnered with an excellent SME seeking an assistant management accountant to join on a full-time, permanent basis. You will be part of a small finance team and work closely with the financial controller.

Duties include bank reconciliations, processing supplier invoices, BACS payments, journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and assisting with monthly management accounts; study support for ACCA/CIMA is available.

Qualifications

• AAT qualification desirable.
• Experience with SAGE 50/200 desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Process purchase ledger invoices.
• Execute BACS payments.
• Assist with purchase orders.
• Record accruals, prepayments and journals.
• Maintain fixed asset register.
• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly management accounts.
• Submit VAT and CIS returns.
• Support other ad hoc duties.
