Job summary

Confidential in Windsor is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to support the finance team with end-to-end accounts payable and broader future exposure to accounting tasks. The role starts immediately in a fast-paced SaaS environment, with opportunities to learn and grow within the business.

You will process invoices, manage the accounts payable inbox, and perform supplier reconciliations, with weekly payment runs and ad-hoc analysis as needed.

Qualifications

• Ideally a STEM degree with strong academic background.
• Experience of 2+ years in a finance role.
• Excellent Excel and analytical skills.
• Organised and efficient with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the accounts payable inbox.
• Process invoices and enter them into the general ledger.
• Review and code invoices for approval.
• Prepare weekly payment runs.
• Perform supplier reconciliations, including utilities.
• Prepare quarterly purchase ledger reports with comments.
• Liaise with suppliers for refunds, statements and invoices.
• Process reports to identify disputed items and chase approvals.
• Flag invoices awaiting approval after 3 months and chase Authorisers/Suppliers.
• Handle ad-hoc reports and analysis as required.
• Prepare quarterly purchase ledger write-off reports for CFO.
