Job summary

BUUK Infrastructure in Woolpit is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant on a fixed-term contract up to 15 months. The role focuses on assisting the management accountant with preparation, analysis and submission of construction payroll and management accounts, supporting month-end processes and reporting.

You will own overtime and bonus calculations, liaise with operations to resolve payroll queries, maintain stock and project cost journals, and partner with payroll and operational teams to

Qualifications

• AAT qualified or studying towards ACCA / CIMA.
• Experience of payroll duties is desirable.
• Experience in finance and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of month end management accounts for the construction business.
• Prepare and post month end journals.
• Prepare and analyse balance sheet reconciliations.
• Own the processing, analysis and submission of monthly overtime and bonus calculations and ensure control accounts are reconciled and approved.
• Business partnering with operational and payroll departments.
