Job summary

CMC Consulting Limited in London is hiring a Junior Management Accountant to join its Finance team, a great next step for someone early in their finance career to gain hands-on experience across a multi-site hospitality business.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will assist month-end reporting, cost and performance analysis, and balance sheet control across group entities, building broad skills in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Accounting background with degree or studying ACCA/CIMA/AAT.
• Minimum 2 years as an Accounts Assistant, multi-site experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office.
• Proactive, adaptable and clear communicator.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end reporting and balance sheet control across entities.
• Maintain weekly cashflow reporting and investigate variances.
• Post payroll/stock journals and prepare month-end reconciliations.
• Prepare revenue journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and ad hoc analysis.

A growing, multi-brand leisure and hospitality business is hiring a Junior Management Accountant to join its Finance team, this is a great next step for someone early in their finance career looking to build broad, hands-on experience across a multi-site environment.

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll support month-end reporting, cost and performance analysis, and balance sheet control across multiple entities, helping deliver accurate, timely management information.

Key Responsibilities

• Support monthly accounts, P&L and Balance Sheet reporting across group companies
• Maintain weekly cashflow reporting and investigate variances
• Post payroll/stock journals and prepare month-end reconciliations
• Prepare revenue journals and balance sheet reconciliations
• Support budgeting, forecasting and ad hoc analysis

What We're Looking For

• Accounting background - degree level or studying towards ACCA/CIMA/AAT
• 2 years' experience as an Accounts Assistant, ideally multi-site/multi-entity
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Confident with Excel and standard MS Office tools
• Proactive, adaptable, and a clear communicator
