Quanex is seeking an Assistant Accountant to support day-to-day transactional accounting, contribute to management accounts, and deliver insightful financial reporting. The role covers AP, AR, and month-end processes. AAT or ACCA/CIMA-aspiring candidates are welcome, with benefits including pension and life assurance.

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• AAT qualified or studying towards ACCA/CIMA is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately and timely.
• Match PO, goods receipts and invoices (3-way matching).
• Manage supplier payments and term adherence.
• Raise and issue customer invoices promptly.
