Hovis Bakeries in Stockport is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join the Finance Team. You will be responsible for financial reporting and processing across the site, providing analysis of variances and contributing to budget and forecast processes.

The role requires an AAT background, strong spreadsheet and numerical skills, and the ability to work independently with large volumes of data. You’ll support weekly and period reporting and collaborate with the central finance team.

Qualifikationen

• Requires AAT or equivalent background in accounting or finance.
• Proficient with spreadsheets and data analysis.
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to analyse variances and contribute to budgeting and forecasting.

Aufgaben

• Ensure weekly and period reporting and analysis.
• Issue weekly and period reports to GM and site leadership.
• Understand site costs and variances to budget and forecast.
• Ensure compliance with financial controls in collaboration with Finance Business Partner.
• Collaborate with central finance team for budgeting and forecasting.
