Undisclosed is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join a busy Sector Finance team. You will support management accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting in a large, complex business environment.

Ideal candidate is actively studying towards an accounting qualification and has strong numerical, analytical and communication skills. You will work with limited supervision, meet tight month-end deadlines and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Active studying towards an accounting qualification or developing accounting career.
• Experience supporting management accounting activities in a finance function.
• Experience working in a large team environment.
• Project accounting and/or cost centre accounting experience.
• Experience preparing financial reports, reconciliations and journal postings.
• Knowledge of SAP and financial systems.

Responsabilités

• Support delivery of high-quality finance and accounting activities across the business.
• Produce, review and analyse financial data for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and post journals, including accruals, prepayments and month-end adjustments.
• Assist with producing timely month-end accounts.
• Prepare monthly management information and reporting packs.
• Monitor and report on capital expenditure and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Attend meetings with project, cost centre and bid teams, providing financial analysis.
• Serve as a key contact for cost centre managers, delivery teams and project managers.
• Process cost correction postings and maintain financial records.
• Prepare statutory reporting packs (AP06/AP12) and support contractual reporting (QDC/SSRO).
• Assist with internal and external audit requests and queries.
• Support forecasting and budgeting cycles; identify process improvements.
