Allied Bakeries, part of Associated British Foods, is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join the Finance Team at Stockport. Reporting to the Regional Finance Business Partner, this role has accountability for financial reporting and processing across the site, including analysis of variances and contribution to Budget & Forecast processes.

The Right Person will have an AAT or equivalent background, strong spreadsheet skills, and an ability to work independently with large data

• Understanding of manufacturing and logistics processes.
• Able to work independently while managing large volumes of data accurately.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and ability to see the bigger picture.
• Confident communicator with a strong team ethic.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all processes are completed to facilitate weekly & period reporting and analysis.
• Issuing weekly & period reports to the GM & site leadership teams.
• Understanding site costs and variances to budget & forecast in all key areas.
• Working with Finance Business Partner to ensure compliance to financial controls.
• Liaising with central finance to contribute to budgeting & forecasting.
• Providing ad hoc finance support for GM & senior managers.
• Involvement in quarterly forecasting.
• Assisting with ad-hoc tasks to ensure the Finance Services team delivers a high-quality service.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to join the Finance Team based at our Stockport site.
