Job summary

H/Advisors is seeking an Assistant / Management Accountant to support the agency’s financial performance with accurate reporting and analysis. Working closely with the Finance Director, you will be involved in month-end, budgeting, forecasting, revenue management and strong financial controls across the business.

The role requires part-qualified ACCA/CIMA with 3+ years’ experience and excellent Excel skills, including working with substantial financial data and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified ACCA or CIMA with 3+ years in finance or accounting.
• Experience supporting month-end and management accounts.
• Strong Excel skills and data analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication with non-finance stakeholders.
• Proactive and collaborative with willingness to learn.
• Experience with finance and reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
• Prepare journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Support client billing, revenue reporting and WIP.
• Monitor cash flow and aged debt; assist with credit control.
• Produce financial analysis to aid decision-making.
• Assist with year-end audit and statutory reporting.
• Support internal group reporting requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and controls.
• Collaborate with teams for day-to-day finance support.
