Job summary

ACCA Careers is helping a Corby-based manufacturing client recruit an Assistant Management Accountant on a permanent basis. The role is fully office-based, requiring you to contribute to financial reporting, budgeting, and month-end processes while studying for an accounting qualification.

You’ll prepare statements, analyse variances, manage reconciliations, and collaborate with departments to provide insights. Salary ranges from £35,000 to £40,000 with career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and reconciliation.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
• A relevant accounting qualification or working towards one.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Able to commute to Corby office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial reports and statements, including profit and loss accounts and balance sheets.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes for accurate planning.
• Conduct variance analysis to monitor performance.
• Maintain and reconcile financial records for accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights.
• Help manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Contribute to month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist with audits and regulatory adherence.
