Job summary

WH Finance Ltd recruiting on behalf of a client for an Assistant Accountant role based in Corby. The position offers a varied remit including preparation of management accounts and assistance with forecasts, performance reporting and balance sheet reconciliation.

You will work closely with the Finance Director and operational teams to monitor performance, flag financial risks and support achievement of financial and operational objectives.

Our client is a specialist manufacturing business and due to continued expansion they are now looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join their head office team in Corby.

This is a highly varied role where you will be responsible for preparing management accounts, assisting with financial forecasts, performance reports, balance sheet reconciliation and assisting with financial core costs, ensuring financial information is reliable and delivered within agreed deadlines. The role will work closely with the Finance Director and operational management teams to monitor business performance, identify financial risks and opportunities, and support the achievement of the Company’s financial and operational objectives.

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment would be beneficial but applications are welcome from all accounting professionals with relevant experience and interviews are ongoing.
