Job summary

Forvis Mazars in the UK is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to support the Management Accounts team with accurate financial reporting and month-end processes. You’ll work across reconciliations, schedules and financial analysis to contribute from day one.

You will prepare reconciliations and analysis, maintain accounting schedules and have the opportunity to study ACCA or CIMA. This role is ideal for early-career finance professionals seeking growth in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• A recent finance, accounting or business graduate, particularly with a placement year.
• Someone with 1-2 years' experience in a finance or accounting role.
• Studying towards, or considering, ACCA or CIMA.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accrual and prepayment schedules.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany balances, fixed assets, accruals and prepayments.
• Review bad debt provisions.
• Produce overhead reporting.
• Complete payroll benefit reconciliations.
• Analysis and intercompany billing of expenses.
