Job summary

Forvis Mazars in the UK is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to support the Management Accounts team with accurate financial reporting and month-end processes. You’ll work across reconciliations, schedules and financial analysis to contribute from day one.

• Prepare and maintain accrual and prepayment schedules.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany balances, fixed assets, accruals and prepayments.
• Review bad debt provisions.
• Produce overhead reporting.
• Complete payroll benefit reconciliations.
• Analysis and intercompany billing of expenses.

About The Team

The Assistant Management Accountant will support the Management Accountants team in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting and month-end processes. The role is responsible for preparing reconciliations, maintaining accounting schedules, supporting financial analysis and reporting, and assisting with a range of finance activities throughout the month.

This position offers an opportunity for someone in the early stages of their finance career to develop their management accounting skills within a supportive team, as well as the option to study for an accounting qualification (ACCA or CIMA).

About The Role

What We Are Looking For
