Based near Wembley, North West London, our client is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent basis. The role is office-based 4 days a week and 1 day from home. Please only apply if you can make this commute daily.

This role is ideal for someone with prior accounts payable/receivable experience who is eager to advance their career. It offers the opportunity to contribute to the company's growth by managing an efficient finance function while playing a key role in shaping and influencing business decisions.

The successful candidate will have transactional experience and may have experience in other areas as well. Responsibilities include timely financial reporting, analysis, transaction processing, system maintenance, and development. The role involves supporting the business in maximizing profitability, realization, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

1. Deliver timely financial reports and analysis to aid decision-making and goal setting.
2. Prepare weekly management accounts, KPIs, and other performance analyses.
3. Support sales strategy development and performance measurement through tailored analysis.
4. Provide timecard analysis for company-wide appraisals.
5. Assist in preparing reports for strategy days and support forecasting and budgeting with senior management.
6. Perform general accounting duties, including month-end journals, P&L and balance sheet reviews, reconciliations, and maintaining the Fixed Assets register.
7. Assist with VAT returns, year-end processes, and compliance with financial obligations in collaboration with the Finance Director and external accountants.
8. Support the Company Secretariat during year-end activities.
