Job Description

To work alongside the property department and reporting into an accounting supervisor, as part of the wider global Property and Accounts teams, based at the group’s head office in Shirebrook, Notts.

The candidate will be involved in processing accounting entries for all subsidiaries.

Job role includes, but is not limited to:

  • Ensure completion of month-end processes within deadlines.
  • Maintain global property databases.
  • Analyze prepayments and accruals against a budget.
  • Identify potential errors and create monthly reports against accounting standards.
  • Support ad hoc project analysis and reporting.
  • Support multiple departments across the business.
  • Collaborate with external consultants on system implementations and improvements.
  • Work as part of a team of 7 to process monthly costs for all properties.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a finance role dealing with balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Hardworking and willing to learn are essential.
  • Intermediate Excel skills with confidence in formulas.
