Job Title: Assistant Management Accountant

Salary:£35K – £38K per annum (dependent on experience, with a 6-month performance review)

Schedule:Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:30, in person

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Management Accountant to join our finance team. This role will play a key part in managing our financial operations, working closely with the Finance Assistant and external accountants to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to support business decision-making.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments.
• Prepare and present monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations and ensure financial compliance.
• Handle VAT return preparation and submissions.
• Oversee monthly invoicing processes and customer pricing reviews.
• Support senior management with job costing and financial analysis.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and contribute to revenue growth initiatives.
