Job summary

CRP Group Global Ltd in Morley, Leeds is hiring an Assistant Management Accountant to support month-end close, reconciliations, VAT returns and financial reporting.

You will report to the Senior Accountant and assist with group accounts consolidation, IFRS 16 schedules, cost reports and ad-hoc analysis, developing your management accounting experience in a supportive team.

This office-based role offers a clear progression path and exposure to key financial processes within a busy finance function.

Qualifications

• Solid grounding in accounting with willingness to develop management accounting skills.
• Experience with month-end processes, reconciliations, VAT, and financial reporting.
• Comfort with financial information and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Managing overhead cost lines, including supporting schedules, accruals and prepayments.
• Maintaining IFRS 16 schedules.
• Processing group accounts into Cognos for consolidation.
• Creating recharge invoices.
• Supporting month-end statement batch creation.
• Revaluing open transactions for changes in foreign exchange rates.
• Producing cost reports and financial information for key stakeholders.
• Managing balance sheet accounts and completing detailed reconciliations.
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns in line with HMRC requirements.
• Supporting the external audit process, including preparing relevant information and schedules.
• Preparing tax packs and supporting documentation.
• Assisting with month-end and year-end close.
• Responding to finance-related queries and providing operational support.
• Supporting the wider finance team and providing cover where required.
• Assisting with ad-hoc financial analysis and accounting projects.
• Contributing to process improvements and wider finance projects.

We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to join an established finance team based in Morley, Leeds.

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to develop their accounting experience within a supportive team, gaining hands-on exposure across month-end, balance sheet reconciliations, VAT, audit, tax and financial reporting.

Reporting to the Senior Accountant, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day finance function while developing your technical knowledge and experience.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:
