Job summary

RG Consultancy, located near Pudsey, is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance team with the view to be trained up to become a junior management accountant and report into the financial controller.

You will join a team of 3 in finance with progression opportunities; this role suits someone with practice or industry background and a strong appetite to expand knowledge in accounts. Hybrid working after probation and study support for ACCA/ACA/CIMA are on offer.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with monthly management accounts
• Assisting with budgets and variance analysis
• Assisting with accruals, prepayments, journals and fixed asset register
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations including bank, creditor, and debtor reconciliations
• Assist with credit control activities, including debtor chasing and posting receipts
• Support purchase and sales ledger activities as required
• Posting invoices and setting up new accounts
• Prepare accurate and timely financial information upon request for members of the senior management team
• Assist with audit preparation and respond to auditor queries
• Assist with payroll processing and all payroll queries
• Other adhoc duties within finance.
