Role

Responsibilities

• Support with monthly management accounts production.
• Prepare and post journal entries for accruals, prepayments.
• Maintain the fixed asset register, including additions, disposals, and depreciation.
• Perform bank and other balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support monthly and yearly financial close processes.
• Assist with ad-hoc financial reports and analysis.
• Contribute to continuous improvement within the finance department.
• Process purchase invoices and maintain supplier records (Accounts Payable).
• Raise sales invoices and chase outstanding debts (Accounts Receivable).
• Support the payroll function.

Profile

The ideal candidate should have:

• 2-3+ years of experience in a similar role supporting management account preparation.
• Strong knowledge of double entry bookkeeping (debits & credits).
• Experience in maintaining fixed assets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Actively pursuing a recognised qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or AAT).
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Background in hospitality is advantageous.
