Job summary

Forvis Mazars UK is looking for a qualified finance professional to lead across our UK financial services outsourcing engagements, covering management accounting, statutory reporting and advisory work for asset management, banking and insurance clients.

You will mentor junior team members from our London office, manage deadlines and engagement economics, and build strong client relationships as part of a collaborative and inclusive team that supports your growth from day one.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Interest in financial services; experience preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping, management accounting and client relationship management.
• Ability to manage projects, deadlines and engagement economics.
• Capable of delivering work with juniors and senior review.
• Strong interpersonal communication.

About the team

Our Financial Services Outsourcing team delivers high-quality finance and accounting support to a diverse portfolio of clients across the insurance, private equity and banking sectors. We are responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of management accounts and related financial reporting, tailored to each client's specific requirements.
Our client base ranges from established market leaders to fast-growing financial services start-ups, with each organisation outsourcing different aspects of their finance function. We pride ourselves on acting as an extension of our clients' teams, building strong relationships and working collaboratively to support their business objectives. This close partnership often involves regular interaction and meetings at both client and our own offices, ensuring a seamless and responsive service.

About the role

The focus of the role is to help drive and lead across our UK FS outsourcing client engagements incorporating a broad mix of management accounting, statutory accounting and accounting advisory work across asset management, banking, capital markets and insurance.
Help deliver high-quality work for clients and profitable outcomes for the business through use of best practices, technology and alignment with Firm policies.
Work closely with junior team members in our London office in the delegation and review of work as well as fostering their learning and development.

What we are looking for

• Qualified at ACA, ACCA or CIMA
• Strong interest in financial services, experience would be ideal but not essential.
