KC Group are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious and highly regarded Professional Services Business in the Cheltenham area who are searching for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their Finance Division.

The ideal candidate will come from a Professional Services background (industry or practice), and have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting more experienced team members with payroll, management accounts, VAT, and accounts payable invoices.
• Liaising with third parties in the UK and overseas offices to follow up on services being provided.
• Performing administrative duties for the team.
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts in multiple currencies.
• Supporting the Compliance team with queries related to year-end statutory accounts and compliance.

Required attributes:

• 1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in management accounting.
• Part qualified or planning to start studies (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/AAT).
• International experience is a significant advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build trust and develop relationships.
• Awareness of risk and ability to produce high-quality documents on the first attempt.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting systems such as SAGE or NetSuite is beneficial.
