About the Role

This role involves supporting the month-end close process and contributing to the preparation of Management Accounts.

Responsibilities

• Support the month-end close process, including contributing to the preparation of Management Accounts.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail with a hands-on approach to daily finance operations, providing proactive support to the wider team.
• Assist with the Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger functions, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Perform account reconciliations, including supplier statements and nominal ledger accounts.
• Undertake cashiering duties, including banking and daily cash monitoring.
• Take responsibility for the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, maintaining accuracy and compliance.
• Compile and submit manufacture composites, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Support external audit processes, providing documentation and responding to auditor queries.

Qualifications

• AAT Qualified
• Accounts experience - minimum 2 years
