What you’ll be doing:
You'll handle cash matching, reconciliation, investment accounting, and work closely with our Investment Team. You'll ensure timely and accurate investment data, prepare reports, and manage monthly reconciliations. Working with counterparts and third parties will be key. You'll also review fund accounting when needed and deliver tasks for Brit Group reporting to Fairfax. Developing our investment data warehouse, producing accurate reports, and delivering regulatory returns are part of the gig. You'll also work on process improvements with the Investment & Treasury team. You'll get involved in finance projects, support the Future of Finance project, and liaise with various teams and auditors. You'll help identify and implement improvements, maintain procedures manuals, and ensure financial controls are met.
