YMCA Heart of England are looking for a Assistant Housing & Progression Managerto join our team on a full time, permanent contract. You will be based predominantly in Erdington, Birmingham.In return, you will receive a competitive salary of£35,000 per annum.

About the Assistant Housing & Progression Manager role

The Assistant Housing & Progression Manager is responsible for leading, developing and motivating a team of Progression Officers to deliver an efficient and effective housing management service to the residents in the scheme. With a background in supported housing, The Assistant Housing & Progression Manager is also responsible for ensuring that the welfare of our residents is protected, maximising their potential for sustained independent living.

About you

To succeed in this role, you will need proven leadership qualities, with workplace experience of developing and motivating a team. You will have worked in supported housing and will understand the issues faced by disadvantaged people.

You will also have detailed knowledge of current legislation relating to housing and to supported living, with particular reference to homelessness.
