Education Experts is representing an experienced Assistant Headteacher for a Birmingham based primary school. The role is temporary and ongoing for at least one term, working with the current SENCO and KS2 teaching support. Typical hours are 8.30am–4pm with a 30-minute lunch, with travel to Birmingham as required and NPQ for SENCOs preferred.

Daily rate ranges from £279.08 to £294.32. Immediate start date and safeguarding checks are part of the recruitment process.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in primary education settings.
• NPQ for SENCOs preferred; other SEN leadership qualifications considered.

Responsibilities

• Support the current SENCO with whole-school responsibilities.
• Lead some small group teaching sessions with KS2.
• Collaborate to observe and advise on pupil support strategies.
